Part of the railway has been rebuilt[edit]

@Useddenim: On Sunday in a week normal passenger services will resume on a stretch of the railway line that used to be known as Waverley Route and now is named Borders Railway. Regarding route maps, it is my observation that operational sections are shown in solid red, irrespective of any name changes. I assume WP:good faith for your revert, and in the spirit of Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle I would appreciate you make the point why sections with trains on rails should be shown in pink. -- KlausFoehl (talk) 08:22, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A fair question, and I appreciate your desire to avoid an edit war. However, I made the revert based on the fact that the Waverley Line per se, as a Network Rail service is not being restored. Certainly, the reopened track is shown correctly on the Borders Railway template. Perhaps we should posit this question at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways for more opinions? From looking at examples like Wensleydale_Railway I take it that dark red it is if nowadays there are rails with wheels on it. As suggested, I've asked at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Railways for opinions on this talk page here. -- KlausFoehl (talk) 14:57, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
When the Borders Railway reopens, the relevant section of the Waverley Line template should be changed to dark red, but not before then. Mjroots (talk) 19:06, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Borders Railway opened today so the parts of the Waverley Line being used should now be solid red. --Rumping (talk) 22:45, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking care. I was off-line all week-end. -- KlausFoehl (talk) 12:12, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Station links[edit]

When I click on a link to a station, it links back to the Waverley Route page instead of linking me to the respective station page. This is a big issue seen as most of the external links on my pages redirect back to the Waverley Route page. The same thing happens to half of the other links but it instead redirects me to the Border Railway page instead. I've tried altering the links to the pages but nothing is working and it's seriously starting to trigger me. If anyone knows what the issue is then let me know because I think I'm the only hope for this page anymore. LordSavage1997 (talk) 20:17, 7 February 2017‎

@LordSavage1997: It's because there are no articles about the stations; the pages are all redirects (as you may have figured out by now). As it says on the redirects, If notability of the subject can be shown, then be bold and convert this redirect into an article on the subtopic. Useddenim (talk) 02:11, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
