Who am I? Let's see. I'm a middle-aged balding white guy who takes his camera just about everywhere. I've been a professional programmer and a system manager, and a support tech. Currently, I am living in Littleton, Colorado.

Interests[edit]

Topics I enjoy include

Never married. All the good ones are taken, and I'm still available. I draw unpleasant conclusions from that.

I like making my own soft pretzels with NaOH, as well as baking breads. There really should be candles and such with the smell of baking bread, or maybe just the smell of active yeast. Pressed pretzels are an abomination which should be considered the lowest form of pretzel, though they can be tasty. Butter, not mustard, is the correct topping for a soft pretzel.

Brought up with Pepe's, I consider it the pinnacle of pizza. I include New York pizza, New Haven pizza, and California pizza in the group it is the pinnacle of. Chicago pizza is a completely different product, and I don't include it in the same category, but rather as a different sect of the Pizza Religion, of which I consider myself to be an evangelical member. Convert to the proper pizza, heathens! If your pizzeria doesn't merit a multi-hour wait in line in the rain and snow, it's not good enough! Okay, maybe the precipitation is a bit hyperbolic, but still.

An additional point:

  • Requesting the banning of habitual vandals makes my day. Children, and people who act like them, really shouldn't be allowed on the adult internet unsupervised.

Current projects[edit]

I'm working on a web application in order to learn PHP and MySQL which will be ready Real Soon Now. I really should take a class on graphic design, so I can arrange better web pages. I'm trying to make a good image of the Golden Gate Bridge with the full moon. No joy yet.
